WHO ARE WE ?
SongChoice.net is a division of Dog Star Music, who has been promoting indie music since 1985.
In its quest to promote good indie music, Dog Star Music started a compilation CD program in the late 90’s whose CD’s were sent out to over 500 radio stations around the world. Our CD’s received an incredible response from radio DJ’s, who played our artists' songs to audiences that they never could have imagined reaching on their own. The feedback was incredible, and artists paid $500 each to get on our CD’s.
With the advent of high quality MP3’s, the Internet and inexpensive CD burning software, Dog Star Music started SongChoice.net to carry on the legacy by providing a vehicle for indie artists to get their songs to radio worldwide, but at a fraction of the cost of getting on a traditional compilation CD. And it opened up a whole new market as well: songs for Film, TV, Commercials and other media.
This site is a place where both radio stations and media producers can come and listen to music and, if they like a song, can broadcast it on their radio station or license it for use in a media production.
So here we are. We are still promoting indie music, but in a much more cost effective way to both the artist and ourselves. Welcome to SongChoice.net. We hope you will realize the incredible potential of this site, and how YOUR SONGS are the backbone of what we are doing.

To pay the introductory price of only $10.00 per song, click on the "buy now" button:Artists can either email us high quality MP3 files, or can mail their CD to us. If mailing a CD, please include a note telling us which song(s) you want posted on this site. We will accept songs in any style and genre, but we will not accept any songs that we, in our discression, deem to be negative, degrading, contain profanity, etc.
Radio Stations around the world are invited to audition and download the posted high quality MP3's of the songs that they like, burn to a CD and to broadcast them to their listeners. There is no charge to Radio Stations for this service, but they are asked to send us feedback on all songs they download and broadcast, and to let us know how their listeners responded. All feedback from radio stations will be posted on a separate page so songwriters can check to see where in the world their song is being played, and what kind of feedback it is receiving. Artists can then follow up with promo, tour opportunities, interview opportunities, etc.
